Eastern White Pine on Willow Bow drill. Pond special.

White pine spindle on Willow fireboard. All materials collected from around my pond. Hence pond special, mosquitoes not included. They take serious offense to bow drill practice at night near the pond.

Are you tellin me that mosquito's don't like smoke?! Hard to feel sorry for them, lol. And you, you're really starting to like this bow drill stuff looks like. It's not quite as addicting as building AR's, but I find myself frequently looking at random trees wondering if I could make an ember with that. Willow's pretty nice to work with. I like it for bow drill as well as few other uses when I can find it. Around here it mostly only grows where people have planted them. I don't find them in the wild to often.
